A student of business for many years, he speaks about business principles learned during his years at the border. He shares about his experience creating organization that has become among the most recognized names in North Korean refugee work. He candidly discusses the many challenges he faced and overcame along the way such as house arrest, interrogation, and being held at gunpoint. He tells of the preparation and perseverance required to lead refugees through the 6,000-mile Asian underground railroad. Most importantly, he challenges listeners to never give up and communicates that it is possible to overcome in the face of impossible odds – a lesson he personally learned from the North Korean refugees.
